New Future Magazine travels through Time
Berlin, May 12, 2015 — Creative network agency hyperraum launched new periodical The Future Chronicles on Kickstarter. The first issue travels through the history of the internet, from the past into the future.
In times of information overload, The Future Chronicles is intended to help its readers to maintain the overview. Every issue deals with a current topic of social change. Each article covers a milestone in history and takes place in the respective time.
The first issue deals with the internet: In twenty articles, from the sixties to the end of 21st century, readers will be able to experience the transformation from a technophobe to a virtual society.
Starting today, future and internet enthusiasts have four weeks to fund The Future Chronicles on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter: kck.st/1cx4l8E. Besides various theme-related rewards, supporters will be able to preorder the first issue as a print edition or an interactive app. The funding goal is set to 30,000 EUR.
“Nobody can definitely tell what’s going to happen”, says Daniel Kiendl, co-publisher of The Future Chronicles. “But through exploring possible scenarios, we can clear somewhat the unknown and prepare our readers and us for the way ahead.”
The Future Chronicles is published by hyperraum, a creative network agency, based in Berlin. “We believe that relevant products, services and information are the key to the future”, declares hyperraum co-founder Volker Tolle their intention for the project. If the crowdfunding campaign will be successful, the agency plans to publish the first issue in September of this year.
